AMSTEL Malta has joined forces with Africa Magic, in association with MultiChoice to stage the first edition of the Africa Magic Viewer’s Choice Awards (AMVCA). The nominees for the AMVCAs were revealed at a glamorous nomination cocktail party held at the Porsche Center, Victoria Island, Lagos. In attendance were popular stars like: Jide Kosoko, Saheed Balogun, Chidi Mokeme, Funlola Aofiyebi, Uti Nwachukwu and Genevieve Nnaji. The AMVCA statuette which eventual winners will walk away with was revealed by The Managing Director, M-Net Africa, Biola Alabi, Mr. Tokunbo Adodo, marketing manager, non alcoholic, Nigerian Breweries Plc, and John Ugbe, Managing Director, MultiChoice Nigeria.
Mr. Adodo who described the partnership as timely said there is no better opportunity to anchor that value than a gesture that is aimed at giving back to people who have indeed worked very hard in our very own continent. Adodo who spoke at the unveiling of the various categories and nominees said, “The AMVCA is a platform for rewarding talent which aligns with one of Amstel Malta core value of rewarding loyal consumers. We constantly seek new ways to say to reward our loyal consumers.
