In line with the programs created by the government of the Philippines to assist Overseas Filipino Workers who are looking for ways to invest their money or planning to go into business in the future after their stint abroad as migrant workers, the Embassy of the Philippines in Abuja recently held the second of a series of business seminars being organised by the  Embassy at the Philippine Embassy Chancery in Maitama.

Guest Speaker at the said seminar was Mrs. Catalina Jibrin, a Filipino lady married to a Nigerian whose company NATURE'S TOUCH supplies specialized flower arrangements (centre pieces) for parties and all types of celebrations. Although Mrs. Jibrin is currently working with one of Nigeria's most prestigious construction companies, she devotes part of her time on her passion. She talked on the topic Flower Arrangement Made Simple.

The current Ambassador of the Philippines to Nigeria, H.E. Alex V. Lamadrid, who was at the seminar, said that organising business seminars at the Embassy is just one of the ways  to assist Filipinos who are looking for opportunities to invest their hard-earned money as migrant workers.
