In Lagos: Goethe-Institut Nigeria presents two events

After the summer break, Goethe-Institut Nigeria is back with great news on some exciting events this week:

1) Afropolitan Vibes Concert
Bantu invites you to the 6th edition of Afropolitan Vibes. This month's show will feature the king of Yoruba rap Lord of Ajasa, Afrosoul songstress Ebisan & new Afrobeat sensation Edaoto all sharing the stage with the 11 piece Bantu band.
Venue: Freedom Park (AmphiTheater),
Hospital Road, Old Prisons Ground, Lagos Island
Date: 20th September 2013 at 7pm

2) Author's Talk Special with Sarah Diehl: A book reading in German
Goethe-Institut Nigeria invites you to a special edition of Author’s Talk, featuring German writer and filmmaker Sarah Diehl. Much of her work focuses on reproductive rights for women and she has presented a documentary on this topic in 2008. Her last novel “Eskimo Limon 9” deals with the topic of German-Jewish history in a very culture-clash way. She is currently in Nigeria for research on her next book and film project. She will have a public discussion on her work and do a reading in German.
Venue: Goethe-Institut Nigeria (City Hall, Catholic Mission Street, Opposite Holy Cross Cathedral, Lagos Island)
Date: 21 September 2013 at 2pm
Free Entrance!
