A fashion and beauty exhibition was held at the Musa Yar' Adua Centre on Saturday, the 27th of March 2010, causing major traffic challenges on the road leading to the Silverbird Entertainment Centre, but that is only because a huge crowd were at the half-day event.
It is not a secret of course that Nigerians are some of the world's most fashion-conscious people. Thanks to the proliferation of magazines and tabloids showing photos of men and women in their most fashionable (and not so fashionable) attires, Nigerian designers are getting minute-by-minute attention among fashion enthusiasts, locally and internationally. One can always do the google thing when there is a wish to keep updated on who is who in the Nigerian fashion scene, but to give you a hint, look for names such as Deola Sagoe, Momo, Frank Oshodi, Adebayo Jones, etc.
