The Abuja Literary Society hosted Dr. Wale Okediran at the Transcorp Hilton Hotel on April 3, 2009.A medical doctor, Dr. Okediran is also a politician and an active member of the Association of Nigerian Authors. He was a member of the House of Representatives and is the current president of ANA. He read from his recent novels The Weaving Looms and Tenant of the House.
The Abuja Literary Society is one of the three literary groups in Abuja. The other two are the Association fo Nigerian Authors (ANA) and the Abuja Writers' Forum (AWF).
